Things to do in Goodrington
Goodrington is set in a wonderfully attractive, sheltered bay on the outskirts of Paignton and is one of the most popular resorts on Devon’s English Riviera. It is centred around the well tended Goodrington Park (Young's Park) and the feel of it is altogether more upmarket than central Paignton. A stay in Goodrington locates you in the heart of Torbay on the English Riviera, midway between Brixham and Torquay and has so many attractions and things to do within walking distance or within a short drive. It is such a picturesque spot you'll be so pleased to return to Goodrington to relax after busy family days out visiting the nearby attractions.
With over 2,500 animals across 80 acres it's huge and you’ll need all day to explore it all. There's indoor play areas, the Jungle Express train, a lakeside restaurant and scenic picnic spots. Paignton Zoo is a fun family day out with all your favourite species; crocodiles, snakes, lions, tigers, giraffes, elephant, rhinos, lemurs, meerkats, orang utans and many more. Paignton Zoo is one of the South West's most exciting visitor attractions and is part of a worldwide network of zoos which cares for and breeds rare species. Just 5 mins drive from Goodrington Lodge.
